These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Growtern's website and services at Growtern.in operated by Growtern Technologies Pvt. Ltd. By registering an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Growtern. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
You may not create multiple accounts for the same person or use automation to create accounts.

3. Student Obligations

Apply only to listings you are genuinely interested in and qualified for.
Provide accurate information in your profile and cover letters.
Do not apply using another person's identity or credentials.
Honour commitments made to recruiters through the platform.

4. Recruiter Obligations

All listings must be for real, legitimate positions at registered organisations.
Listings must not request money from applicants in any form.
Compensation details must be accurate at the time of posting.
Recruiters must respond to applicants within a reasonable timeframe.
Growtern reserves the right to remove listings or ban accounts that violate these rules.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or profiles.
Scrape, crawl, or extract platform data without written permission.
Use Growtern to spam, harass, or deceive other users.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
Upload malware, viruses, or harmful content.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Growtern platform — including logos, product design, code, and text — is owned by Growtern Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and is protected by Indian copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

By submitting content (profile data, cover letters, listings), you grant Growtern a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content to operate the platform.

7. Third-Party Services

Growtern integrates with third-party services (Google OAuth, Razorpay, etc.). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for their content or actions.

8. Disclaimers

Growtern does not guarantee employment, internship placement, or interview selection. We are a marketplace connecting candidates and employers — the hiring decision rests solely with the recruiter.

The platform is provided “as is”. We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Growtern's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or ₹500 — whichever is greater.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Patna, Bihar. We encourage you to first contact us at legal@Growtern.in to resolve disputes informally.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
